AMBILON 50MG INJECTION contains Amphotericin B which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-fungal agents. AMBILON 50MG INJECTION is used to manage invasive fungal infections in patients who are resistant/intolerant to conventional Amphotericin B therapy.
AMBILON 50MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Amphotericin B. It is also not recommended for use in patients with common/superficial, clinically inapparent fungal infections (which are detectable only by positive skin/serologic tests).
Before receiving AMBILON 50MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are neutropenic, and/or have liver problems (such as hepatic impairment), and suffer from kidney problems/undergoing dialysis.
AMBILON 50MG INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women only if it is clearly necessary. It is also used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elders (aged above 65 years) after consulting with the doctor.
